What's New in the Village: A Carmel-by-the-Sea Summer 2026 Field Guide

  • July 9, 2026

For years, the shorthand for a Carmel summer has been the calendar. Bach Festival week. Car Week. The Sandcastle Contest. You planned around them, and the quieter weeks in between were quieter by design.

That framing no longer describes the village you actually live in.
